The Orchard Lake Fine Arts show wrapped up Sunday. I must say that I've never experienced anything quite like it. Um...alot of really rich people, fountains of chocolate, guys in tuxedos giving away free food. You get the picture.
I passed out plenty of business cards and people absolutely loved my paintings. I even found someone interested in buying them. She just didn't have the money on her at the time. The two 4 x 4 monsters started on Friday at 400 dollars each. By Sunday, I cut the price in half.
I don't know what all this means. I do know I am an accomplished fine artist. (-I knew that going into the show-) Sitting here now, I wonder if tents and festivals is the best way to showcase my talents? No. No they aren't!
